Got these after my parents persistently complained about the noise coming from my room with my drumsticks hitting the drum heads. I was surprised how much these pads reduced the noise level, though. It makes the typical rattling sound into more of a thud. Most importantly, though, I didn't have to change my game style, as my hits registered still with the need of only a slightly harder hit on the drum. And, as always, vpgames was prompt on delivery. thanks!
