I purchased this cable to connect my Wii to a Dell 2408wfp ultrasharp monitor in my dorm room. It worked good and I like the length. (Not way too long like some of the more expensive cables would have been for my purposes.) My only gripe with it is the connector that goes into the Wii system is a little tight. Be prepared for that. It's no biggie if you don't have to move the system often however. Also I do not own an actual HDTV so I don't know for sure how it would look. The monitor displays in 480p though so it works wonderfully with the Wii and the cables as well as for my PC monitor.
